Do you know how you can have a great day every day in your life?<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

I used to have hard days every year on my birthday, simply because my expectations were not met. Unmet expectations cause a person to be disappointed or depressed. Although it is generally a reasonable expectation for a mother to remember her child\u2019s birthday, apparently it was too challenging for my Mother. So I used to be depressed on my birthday because my Mother never remembered it, even when I lived in her home. This unmet expectation used to make me cry.<\/p>\n

Now, even though my Mother still does not remember my birthday, I have a great day every birthday. Simply because I changed my expectations.\u00a0 Now I only have one expectation, a very important expectation.<\/p>\n

What do I expect that makes me so happy? I expect myself to do what Jesus would do and be kind to others, especially on my birthday.<\/p>\n

Ephesians 4:32 says, \u201cBe ye kind, one to another\u2026\u201d\u00a0 This is what Jesus would do any day, including all special occasions. If you follow Jesus and do this like he did, you will feel more content with your life\u2014especially on special occasions.<\/p>\n

Do you struggle with bad memories on the special days in your life?\u00a0 You can stop struggling and have a great day every day of your life if you change your expectations.\u00a0 Have only one expectation, that you think of others instead of your own problems.\u00a0 Then you will have great days instead of hard days.<\/p>\n

Soar like an eagle<\/a> over life\u2019s storms.\u00a0 Have great days every day of your life, especially on special occasions.<\/p>\n
