We all have problems and we all cope differently with our problems.\u00a0 But there is one thing every person can do to overcome problems:\u00a0 find your voice.<\/p>\n

Twelve-year old Darcy Lynne Farmer in England struggled with extreme shyness.\u00a0 In\u00a0 church one day she saw a ventriloquist act and knew she wanted to be a ventriloquist.\u00a0 For her tenth birthday, her parents gave her a gift that started her ventriloquism career:\u00a0 her first puppet and she became a fantastic ventriloquist. Ventriloquism is Darcy\u2019s voice and ventriloquism enables Darcy to overcome her issue.<\/p>\n

Like Darcy, I struggled until I found my voice and abuse issues haunted me.\u00a0 I have always loved writing and knew as a young child that I would be a writer someday.\u00a0 Then, I discovered that I could write about my feelings when I could not voice them.\u00a0 In counseling, I wrote instead of speaking at first and I kept writing. Now I have my own website and I am a published author.\u00a0 Hence, writing is my voice and writing enables me to address my issues.<\/p>\n

What is your voice? What can you do? And what do you like to do? How can you use your voice to address your issues?<\/p>\n

Everyone has a voice.\u00a0 Finding your voice will enable you to address your issues and feel better about your life.<\/p>\n

Parents, enable your child to find his or her voice. Pay attention to what interests your child.\u00a0 When you find your child’s voice, encourage him or her to pursue that voice.<\/p>\n
