Please do not let your life become like our crab apple tree!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

There is a crab apple tree by our back door.\u00a0 Last summer was our first summer in this house, and we didn’t prune this tree.\u00a0 Yesterday a branch almost broke off,\u00a0 blocking access to our yard.<\/p>\n

First thing this morning, my husband cut down the branch.\u00a0 Then he dragged it off to the back yard.<\/p>\n

There have been times that my life has been like this crab apple tree.<\/p>\n

Yes, it is good to bear fruit in your life, but at times my life everything around me became too heavy.\u00a0 At those times, all of that extra fruit just weighed me down and kept me from functioning.\u00a0 It made me feel very depressed.<\/p>\n

To get past those times in my life, I had to prune away the things that were dragging me down.\u00a0 There were certain relationships, activities, and habits that I could no longer withstand the weight of.<\/p>\n
