What is your passion? Is your passion also your job?
Even as a young child, I was aware my family was very poor. In spite of this fact, someone I loved dearly inspired me to help others, and I often dreamt at night.
What did I dream as a child? I dreamt of helping someone in a big way before I die.
Two weeks ago, I listened to a friend who has a problem. Her ex-husband does not pay his child support although he has a decent job, and he refuses to help his sons at all after they graduate from high school. Both of these young men have career goals, and their careers require a college degree. My friend cannot afford this, and she feels upset that she cannot enable her sons to reach their goals.
I made a promise to a loved one before she died that I would continue to help others. That is my passion and my job, in spite of the fact that I am “differently abled” (disabled).
Although I have not told my friend this, I now dream about her two sons graduating from college and having successful careers.
Because my goal is to lift others to higher places, I have decided I will help make this dream come true. For the past two weeks, I have worked every day on my novel to be able to save money for this college fund.
My passion and my job now are to send two boys to college! I will do this, one way or another!

You do know that you can have more than one job, don’t you? You can have a job that you do every waking minute of every day, regardless of what you do to earn your paycheck. Yes, you know which job I am referring to–enabling others to do things they could not otherwise have done. Anyone can do this job all day every day.
Please join me in pursuing a passion and a job!
