grandmother had imparted certain gifts to me that enabled me to survive anything.<\/p>\n<p>Here are three more keys to surviving and succeeding.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4>The right mindset.<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Having a growth mindset\u00a0is vital to both survival and success because it enables you to keep trying no matter what adversity you encounter in life.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bobbiejrae.com\/home\/happy-day-every-day-near-river-bj-rae-eagle\/\">A gratitude attitude<\/a>.<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Keep a \u201cGratitude Journal\u201d by writing down what you are grateful for each and every day of your life.\u00a0 When you start to feel stressed, immediately think of things you can write in your journal and write them down.\u00a0 Read your journal when you cannot think of anything to be grateful for.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGratitude\u201d has many health benefits, relationship benefits, and satisfaction benefits.\u00a0 It enables you to focus on what is good in your present life instead of wanting more and more.\u00a0 Furthermore, it turns your mental focus to positives and enables your brain to counteract its natural tendency to focus on worries, threats, and negatives.\u00a0 Additionally, it creates joy, love, and contentment\u2013which can remove the negative grip of depression and anxiety.\u00a0 Gratitude creates positive thought cycles and behavior patterns.<\/p>\n<p>Positive thoughts and behavior patterns created by gratitude enable you to survive and succeed. \u00a0They enable you to keep trying against all adversity.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bobbiejrae.com\/home\/succeed-like-weed-near-river-bj-rae\/\">High stress tolerance and persistence<\/a>.<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>High stress tolerance means that a person thrives as much as possible in every adverse circumstance. \u00a0To be highly stress-tolerant, look for the good in your life, no matter how difficult life seems at the moment.<\/p>\n<p>Volunteering and helping others also build your stress-tolerance.\u00a0 Volunteering increases your sense of well-being, alleviates chronic pain, and reduces depression.\u00a0 Volunteers feel happier, more satisfied with their lives, feel more in control of their lives, and have better physical and mental health.<\/p>\n<p>High stress tolerance enables you to persist through extremely troubling times and successfully and find your way to the light at the end of the tunnel.<\/p>\n<p>***<\/p>\n<p>You can survive and succeed no matter what you are going through at this moment.\u00a0 Just stay focused on what is important in your life\u2014your positive attitude and your positive behavior patterns.<\/p>\n<p>These three keys to survival and success have enabled me to maintain my attitude and positive behavior patterns through many storms.\u00a0 Maintaining a positive attitude and behavior patterns is an important key to survival and success.<\/p>\n<h4>Stay focused on what is most important in your life.<\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\">Let the\u00a0<a
