Look for the bright spots in your life when life tries to drag you down!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

I have a new \u201cadopted Mom\u201d.\u00a0 She is definitely a bright spot in my life!<\/p>\n

On Mother\u2019s Day, I could not communicate with my Mother.\u00a0 She finally realized she needs help managing her life and moved to my sister\u2019s home in a different state.\u00a0 My sister is very judgmental and has always looked down on me for some reason.\u00a0 So when my Mother moved in with my sister, my sister discouraged her from speaking with me.<\/p>\n

I have never hurt my sister or my Mother but they hurt me a great deal.\u00a0 My birth family is just not nice.<\/p>\n

I wanted to cry at first on Mother\u2019s Day.\u00a0 But I realized I could take steps to pick myself up emotionally. I gave thought positively and kept myself busy. I remembered something my Grandma taught me as a young child, Philippians 4:8.\u00a0 \u201cFinally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things.\u201d<\/p>\n

But then I found a bright spot in my life.<\/h5>\n

The next morning I called my good friend Wendy Williams.\u00a0 Wendy Williams is kind, loving, and supportive.\u00a0 She is a great listener.\u00a0 She teaches me many things.\u00a0 I love her with all of my heart.<\/p>\n

Wendy told me that she is now my \u201cadopted Mom\u201d.\u00a0 She is definitely one of the brightest spots in my life!<\/p>\n

When life frustrates you, do not focus on the negatives.\u00a0 Focus on the bright spots in your life.\u00a0 Any legal bright spot will do.<\/p>\n

Focusing on the bright spots in your life will make you feel much better.<\/p>\n

When your life tries to drag you down, look for its bright spots!<\/h4>\n
